A benign tumor composed of immature cartilage cells
Clinical context
A 22-year-old male presents with a slow-growing mass in his left femur that has been present for several months. Imaging reveals a well-defined lesion with areas of calcification and soft tissue density. Physical examination shows mild tenderness over the affected area. The patient has no history of trauma or systemic symptoms.
