dermatofibrosarcoma
Definition

Clinical context
A 35-year-old woman presents with a painless, firm nodule on her left arm that has been slowly enlarging over the past 2 years. Physical examination reveals a fixed, indurated lesion with a 'woody' texture. Biopsy shows spindle-shaped cells with storiform growth pattern. The lesion has been slowly growing despite no treatment for years.
Mnemonic
Dermato-fibrosarcoma = 'Dermato' (skin) + 'fibro' (fibrous tissue) + 'sarcoma' (malignant tumor)
