A cyst or swelling in a breast containing milk, typically occurring in women who are not breastfeeding

Clinical context

A 32-year-old woman presents with a painless, firm lump in her left breast that has been present for 3 weeks. She is not breastfeeding but has a history of hormonal changes and recent stress. On examination, there is a well-circumscribed, mobile mass that transilluminates on light examination. The patient has no nipple discharge or skin changes.
