Clinical context
A 28-year-old woman presents with well-demarcated, erythematous plaques with silvery scales on her elbows and knees that have been present for several months. The lesions are asymptomatic but worsen during winter months. Physical examination reveals the classic 'psoriatic triad' of silvery scales, well-demarcated plaques, and Auspitz sign.
