Clinical context
A 35-year-old male presents with a painless scrotal mass that has been slowly enlarging over several months. Physical examination reveals a soft, cystic mass in the epididymal region that transilluminates positively. The mass is non-tender and does not cause any urinary symptoms. Ultrasound confirms a well-defined cystic lesion containing sperm within the epididymis.
