Radiographic imaging study of the ventricles of the brain
Clinical context
A 65-year-old patient presents with headache and confusion following a motor vehicle accident. A CT scan shows suspected intracranial hemorrhage, and the neurologist orders ventriculography to evaluate for ventricular dilation and rule out hydrocephalus. The imaging demonstrates enlarged ventricles with impaired CSF circulation.
